Privacy policy

The short version

The mouse test itself runs entirely in your browser. Clicks, timings and scroll data are never sent to us or stored on a server. We show ads through Google AdSense, which may use cookies as described below.

Data the test uses

To measure your mouse, the page reads mouse button, pointer position and scroll events inside the test area. This information exists only in your browser tab's memory and is erased when you press Reset, reload or close the page. If you use “Copy report”, the text is placed on your own clipboard only.

We store one small preference in your browser's local storage: your light/dark theme choice. It never leaves your device.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

This site is supported by advertising served by Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count page views. It does not track you across sites or build a profile of you.

Server logs

Like every website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, time) for security and troubleshooting. These are kept for a short period and are not used to identify you.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights & contact

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA) you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data.
